The most we can hope for is that the rest of these maroons adopt the Catholic doctrine that "Certain attempts to influence chromosomic or genetic inheritance are not therapeutic but are aimed at producing human beings selected according to sex or other predetermined qualities. These manipulations are contrary to the personal dignity of the human being and his or her integrity and identity." I want Dobson and his cronies to embrace full-force this doctrine. When people like Leon Kass and his ilk say, "Man's deepest natural desires can only be satisfied through an immortal union with the creator," what he really means is dead.
