When Viri Multiply

Ugh. I have come down with Kouryou-chan's virus. Last night, I went to bed feeling a little under the weather, and by three o'clock I was in that delirious, 102-degree fever state. When my bladder informed me I had to get up, I got out of the covers radiant with body heat and by the time I was done with my business felt so chilled all I could wish for was to crawl back under the covers and stay warm. I shivered terribly, and slept for 13 hours. I awoke completely dehydrated, with gnolls hammering at my head and the worst case of heartburn I've felt in months, maybe years.

I seem to be past the worst of it, but Kouryou-chan went through a stage where we thought it was over and it all came back the next day, so I'll just have to wait before I know if I'm going to collapse again.

Note to self: greasy, deep-fried seafood is not the way to celebrate getting over the stomach flu.
