So, anyway, I've sort-of started into the next major Journal Entries novel. Not quite sure where it's going, although I have several strong ideas. It stars Misuko & Linia, and is about the dark side of the AIs that run the Journal Entries universe. (The secret phrase of the day is "The Encompassment.") I've also polished up a good number of stories up to The Kemper Assignment, which I'm still pondering.
My brain has this annoying "Wouldn't you rather be working on... ?" mode where, when I'm head deep into something, plot notions for other stories keep bugging me. For some reason I've been thinking a lot about the first girl/girl scene in the Aimee' series, and where I'm going to put it.
And when I stopped by the grocery store on the way home to get milk and a sack of potatoes, I also picked up a grapefruit for myself. And when I did, the coupon machine dutifully spat out a coupon associated with my purchase, like it always does. Is there some reason that Mylanta is associated with a grapefruit? I wonder what they're trying to tell me.
