Friday Five (mine)

1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero.

Nightcrawler, from the X-Men. It got worse as time went on. There was a day in the early 1980's when I looked through one of the later issues of X-Men and realized that Kurt Wagner was, well, hot, and I knew that there was something damnably peculiar about me.

2. What was the one thing you wanted as a child but never got?

I don't remember every actually wanting anything. Today, I know what I wish I'd had more of then: parents.

3. What's the furtherst from your home you've ever been.

Korfu, Greece. We almost got to Nigeria but there was a plague on and we were discouraged from visiting the African continent that trip.

4. What's the one thing you've wanted to learn but haven't yet?

Nihongo wakarimaru.

5. What are your plans for the weekend?

I have a date (almost a blind date!) this Friday. We're going to a restaurant (as yet unchosen) and then to the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival. The rest of the weekend will be routine, doing the house cleaning and shopping thing.
