What the hell does "negative liberty" even mean? Also, keep in mind that "freedom" is different between states and nations. So this is just a measure of countries that make their own rules vs. states that have a limit on the rules that they can make (because they are inside a nation). This is DEFINITELY NOT an apples vs apples comparison.

Also, you are comparing a series of countries with far stricter gun laws then America has, such as no guns allowed (Japan) or guns only allowed for specific legal purposes (Finland). If you want to compare countries with the same gun laws as the US and see how much more violent the US is compared to them, try comparing gun laws planet-wide. Have fun, because you have entries such as "good reason required: no, unless not for hunting or sports-shooting"...which means there is a good reason required.
