Probably the best resource for all manner of "furry" art is the VCL (http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/), which contains a huge repository of Furry art, not all of it work-safe (just to warn you in advance). There's also the furryreaders community if you want some literary references, and for general furry art, you can ask the nice people on furrtive for references to ferrets, explicitly. I don't know of any off the top of my head, but those are all excellent places to start looking.
