Along with Quiddler, try a game called "Word Thief" also very good.

Quiddler is an eminently portable game. We lost some of that response after playing at cafes and such (since it's also rather addictive).

Yes I agree my daughter and I travel with it many places. We have even had strangers join in a game or two...its highly addictive. ^_^
