A Rule 34 business idea!
Aug. 14th, 2010 01:44 pmHave you ever noticed that lots of the high-class erotica rarely features camping as a setting? Many shoots are done in the outdoors, with whatever comely lass is being photographed draped over rocks, logs, and so on, but there's always a themelessness to the shoot. I mean, would it hurt so bad to include how they got out to these distant and pretty places? I mean, kink.com has great behind-the-scenes pieces explaining how people get into, and how they feel coming out of, heavy S&M scenes.
I think there should be an erotica site where this is the norm for all erotica: a website where every shoot includes a plausible narrative for the setting. (Oddly, Hustler did this very well twenty years ago, but their photography wasn't for me.)
And given that I started with outdoorsy themes to begin with, it should have an outdoorsy name. I propose: S'morn. Minus the singlequote, it would be highly memorable and appropriate.
(Shoot, the obvious URL is already taken by some has-been comedy troupe.)
