Date: 2010-04-14 03:53 am (UTC)So who is *slightly* more reliable: The aforementioned squads of investigators, who do this for a living, who eat, sleep, and breathe this sort of research in such a way that Sherlock Holmes would be envious... or the dentist/lawyer/realtor/whatever who has produced nothing but proven forgeries, the amateur document analyzer who 'is familiar with' image editing, and the legions of people who squint at a grainy GIF on the web and declare 'I have seen many Photoshops in my time and this is a Photoshop!'?
Between things like this, and so-soon-we-forget Oklahomians who have started talking about state-sponsored militias to oppose federal law enforcement... sometimes I think it's time for a new Constitutional Convention... except that'll just make things worse for everyone, including our neighbors, won't it?
