Quick (multipart) question: How is Robert Byrd's past (and we're talking about his association with the KKK, one which had ended by the early 1950s,... that would be 60 years ago) relevant to:

  • Robert Byrd today

  • the Democratic Party of today

  • President Barak Obama

  • President Obama's administration
