And thanks for all the suggestions! I went with the typeface 'Denim,' thinking it would appeal to the "red state" mentality, but at lower resolutions it just looks chunky and a little grungy, not what I want at all. Ah, well, more practice is needed.

Since the quote is going to three lines anyway, break the line at the end of the quote, so that the entire attribution is on the next line, and right justify it. Also, an em-dash instead of an en-dash would probably look better.

I don't think the first names are necessary -- everybody knows who they are. "Palin-Beck" by itself has a certain trochaic charm, and a simplicity well suited to the candidates.

Also, everybody knows that blue is for the pinko commies. Real Americans are red.

You at least need a little red to evoke a flag motif.

Yeah, but where does it go? Red is a hard color for bumper stickers; unless you're willing to pay for chroming, it's hard to make even white stand out on red.
