Omaha and I watched this ad last night and just about fell out of our chairs laughing. You especially have to watch where "Scott's" eyes go in the beginning to get the whole of the joke. I never could stand the chain being advertised, but you gotta love the script. Audio may be NSFW.

(Hat tip to The Slog.)

Put it in me, Scott.

All I could think about was "I can tell you're upset about this" coming from the vacuum cleaner in the back.

The one I've seen on TV, doesn't have the same opening. Instead it's "I'm not rubbing you down with the chamois again." This is so much more funny. Glad I re-watched to catch the eye movement.

Two different commercials.

I *hate* these commercials. The are WAY too overtly sexual for all ages on primetime. I really don't feel I'm a prude in any manner and this is so inappropriate it bugs me. If it were on the Playboy channel, then GO for it!

Once is funny, repeatedly... *gag*

I wasn't aware these were on TV. I thought they were just web-based.

Oh yes... on primetime. Big no no as far as I'm concerned.

"I'm not doing that again, I still burn." eyes look down...

I'm sure there are more than enough children of curiosity age walking around wonder what in the heck he meant.

Here in the UK, there are time-based limits on the sorts of adverts which can be shown, and the "watershed" for program content.

By 11pm, some stereotype Americans would be suffering cranial explosion in every advertising break.

"Don't look, Ethel!"

I'll provide an opposing view on that one. We see it as sexual because we know what the implication is because we have gone past puberty and know what those body parts are for.

Kids under a certain age are going to look at it slightly differently. For them, putting body parts into and on top of things is all about exploration. And all body parts are the same...their penis is just another body part that they do things with, like their hands (thus the "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" game at the tender ages of three and four).

I am surprised that they did put this on television, but compared to a lot of commercials that I haven't hear much about, this is nothing. Or lets walk by a Victoria's Secret some time. Talk about overt.

So, uh, what's up with the periscope that shows up for a fraction of a second (at the back of the toaster) at 0:06?

I agree. It is innuendo, which only works if the viewer gets the meaning.
