I went to my happy place!

I got completely and totally bored with writing more in the fetish-y fantasy novel that doesn't have enough sex in it, so I decided to write a "Ken and Aaden fuck" story. Pure porn. 2000 words in less than an hour.

"When he was fucking you... do you really like that? Like that, I mean?"

"Wish, when you're getting fucked in the ass, what does it feel like for you?"

"Like a promise," she said. Her eyes misted over. "Like I'm going to get everything I want. Like it's just before dawn on Christmas morning and the best present of all is just a sunrise away. I'm happy when you fuck me, either way. My ass is just a special cherry on top." I smiled at her enthusiasm. "But that's not what I saw. Your eyes were all scrunched up in pain, and you were drooling and biting at the mattress, and your hands were..." She made clawing motions in the air, her hands clenching repeatedly.

"It doesn't matter what it looks like from the outside. Although, I have to say, when I've fucked you either way, the little breathy gasps you make, the way it catches in your throat, is hot. You smile and toss your hair and it's so obvious you're having a good time."

"Do guys not care about that?" she said. "Having a good time?"

"Guys understand," Aaden said.

I reached out and closed my hand on her thigh. She shivered at the suggestion, although we both knew it would be an hour or two before I was ready for anything more. I grinned at said, "I have never felt more... useful... as I do when I'm getting fucked. I know there are a million billion ways for one person to be useful to another, but in that moment, my soul, my instincts, are just stupid and there is nothing so satisfying as knowing, in that moment, that I'm useful to a man who needs the kind of pleasure only fucking will deliver."

Are there 2 people here or 3? At first it sounds like 2 people talking, but then that last paragraph switches to 1st person which makes me think it was a 3rd character talking.

Interesting ideas. Would like to hear the rest of the discussion.

I'm curious though, why do you feel the need to write pure fuck stories when so much of what (I think anyway) is good about your writing is the character descriptions and interactions? I like this excerpt because it's so descriptive of how the characters feel. Your writing makes me think, whether in the context of a sex scene or with the rest of the story around the sex.

I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe if you stop worrying so much about How Much sex is in the story it will help. Follow the ideas you're bringing up and let the characters interact more "naturally". Sure there may be less total sex, but it won't seem forced onto the story.

You seem to be struggling so much these days to write or to get more interested in what you're writing. I commented to Omaha yesterday how other artists we know evolve their styles often, following their inspirations to do something different, outside their comfort zones. Lately you seem to be reaching back, trying to write like you've always done, and I think the insistence that you don't have enough sex in what you write is part of that. You're not the same person though, you don't have to be the same writer. What is it that you want to write?

I mean, isn't the idea of this retreat to explore new ideas in your writing? To re-focus where you're going with it? True you may lose some fans, but you may gain others too.

You mentioned the other day that you're just going to write and if it turns out there's "enough sex" you'll post it to your site. Maybe that's a good way for you to think of it right now. For this weekend don't worry so much about pleasing your fans, write for yourself and rediscover what you like about it and why you want to write. See where that leads you.
