epinoid and I haven't lost any of our cats yet. But we need to give Ian laxative twice daily; he's had more than one incident where he's gotten blocked and stopped eating. The first time it happened, he lost a lot of weight and we thought we were going to lose him. He's still with us, but it's only a matter of time before he declines and we have to make that decision you're now facing. :(
