The last one is especially precious. Don't miss it!
- Unsatisfying Sex Life Leads to Silverdale Woman's Meltdown
- The lesson here kids is simple: don't find Jesus after you're deep into your marriage. Leave him under the sofa. I always knew Kitsap county was a weird place.

- Freakin' Brilliant! "Lewd TRexes" is my favorite, but "Imcalm Rampage" comes close. "Nodesire" is impressive in its simplicity
- McCain accidentally says what he believes about the war in Iraq
- "My friends, I will have an energy policy that we will be talking about, which will eliminate our dependence on oil from the Middle East that will -- that will then prevent us -- that will prevent us from having ever to send our young men and women into conflict again in the Middle East."
John, John, John: The war was never about oil. Remember? You're not supposed to admit that you voted to send young men and women into the Middle East to secure oil. You did it for secur... er, democr..., er... - WND: How Hillary will lead America into hell
- A thing of beauty. "The damage that will occur to America if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama is elected president will go far beyond what we can rationally anticipate on the policy level." So David Kupelian is about to get totally irrational on your ass, capice[?]?
His argument is that the President is "father of our country," and Hillary doesn't have the balls necessary for that role (although Maureen Dowd tells us: James Carville helpfully told Eleanor Clift of Newsweek that if Hillary gave Obama one of her vehicles of testicular fortitude, "they'd both have two.") He says, "The toxic cultural/governmental environment would be almost beyond imagination with the elevation of 'the queen of darkness' as 'father of our country.'"
As for Barack Obama:What would be the effect on young people of a leader so deeply and radically anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-military, pro-homosexual, pro-abortion and pro-socialist -- and yet who hides his true identity behind a shimmering veneer of faith, hope and love? ... Youths Tasering each other for fun on YouTube. Ubiquitous sexual debauchery at younger and younger ages. The mainstreaming of transgenderism. Body piercing and tattooing at an ever-more pathological level -- tongues, lips, eyebrows, deep body parts. Pandemic gang activity and drug abuse. Witchcraft. Satanism. Suicide!
Can we please classify WND a "Weapon of Neuron Destruction"? Among other gems on WND this week: an anti-flouridation rant, and an anti-McCain article(!) on the grounds that he panders to reconquistas. (via Dispatches from the Culture Wars.)

I like the second comment in the thread below the story.

Where I come from, overthrowing Fascist Dictators with a penchant for Genocide is unquestionably a Good Thing (tm). Its indicative of how far the extreme left and its rampant isolationism has poisoned the discourse that sending Saddam to the noose is being questioned.
As for the Obama-Messiah, he's another George McGovern. It isn't so much his own, err, qualities (utter vapidness, extreme egotism and insane condesension to say the least) but rather the racist conspiracy loons, crackpots, unrepentant terrorists he hangs about with and the cult-like Kool-Aid drinkers* he gathers. Though if I could vote, I'd probably vote McCain, I could conceivably comfortably vote for Hilary as well. The Democrats are heading for a repeat of 1972 unless they see sense and rescue the Democratic Party from the far-left whackjobs like Moveon.

Date: 2008-05-08 05:39 am (UTC)Well that's fantastic. 1 country down, 183 more to go. And half of those fascist dictatorships were installed by the US government in the first place. Like the one in Saudi Arabia.
Oh but wait! Congo doesn't have any oil to speak of! Nor does Myanmar (or Burma, whichever you like), or Haiti (do they actually have a government right now? And is it fascist?). I guess you'll just have to scratch them off the list.
Overthrowing fascist dictators with a penchant for genocide is a bullshit excuse. If the US was truly interested in doing that for the stated Goodness And Light (tm) reasons, they would have invaded Iraq 25 years ago. And Afghanistan 12 years ago. And definitely Cambodia, back in the 70's when Pol Pot was exterminating 15% of its population.

Date: 2008-05-08 11:15 am (UTC)Actually, that was more the United Kingdom's fault. But since things are OUR fault, WE should fix them.

Why? That the likes of the Burmese Military Junta still exists in this day and age is an utter and complete disgrace. That clerical fascist regimes like Iran are pandered to and excused by the United Nations is an abomination. That the tolerance of fascist regimes that you propose directly led to Rwanda and the genocide of several million people.
Overthrowing fascist dictators with a penchant for genocide is a bullshit excuse.
It is what happened. With Iraq, it was official US Government Policy, initated by Bill Clinton with the Iraq Liberation Act in 1998 or thereabouts. Iraq now has a democratically elected, internationally-recognised government. Or would you prefer Saddam and his goons back?
If the US was truly interested in doing that for the stated Goodness And Light (tm) reasons, they would have invaded Iraq 25 years ago.
They should have.
And Afghanistan 12 years ago.
Definitely.

And definitely. But as I recall, leftists were too busy gloating over the impostition of a communist dictatorship in Vietnam to actually give a shit about the people under the rule of totalitarianism. A trait they've continued to this day.
